DENMAN ISLAND ARTISAN AND NATURE TOUR

Vancouver Island Nature and Artisan Tours
Denman Island, known for it's tranquil countryside and its population of talented artisans' sits just off the east coast of Vancouver Island. Denman's residents produce an abundance of inspired arts and crafts that has helped earn the small Gulf Island an esteemed reputation far and wide. We have picked some of the cream of the crop for pottery, sculpture, watercolor and jewelry of Denman Island artisans. There are sandy beaches, rocky coves, hiking trails, lush forests and picture-perfect farmlands to enjoy. The beauty of Denman's natural environment appeals to artists and outdoor enthusiasts. One can closely observe deer, pheasants, herons, hawks and the majestic bald eagle! We will explore and discover huge old growth fir and cedar trees, fern gullies, a native midden and a peaceful meadow surrounded by beautiful heritage trees. We will follow an easy walking trail along a salmon stream and spend some time beach-combing.

Suitable for ages 6 to 96. Some walking, no hiking.
$149.00 p/p Cdn. plus GST, includes lunch, snacks, refreshments and ferry.
Leave from Parksville at 8:30am return by 6:00pm.
