GREEN MOUNTAIN NATURE TOUR

Vancouver Island nature and wildlife viewing tours
    Travel up the Nanaimo River through a working forest, privately owned by TimberWest, past the Nanaimo Lakes and up Green Mountain. Hike to the top of Green Mountain and enjoy the spectacular views, alpine meadows and mountain birds. This is home to the endangered Vancouver Island Marmot. On the way back we will go for a short hike to visit a large limestone natural bridge over the Nanaimo River. This tour requires booking a year in advance and is dependant on issuance of permits by TimberWest Forest Ltd. and the B.C. Ministry of Environment.

Adventure time: 11 hours.
Cost: $249.00 ea. Cdn. plus GST, Includes lunch and refreshments.
Leave from Parksville at 7:00 am, return approx. 6:00 pm.
